Something’s not right. Something’s missing from your life.

And you want to find it.

Perhaps there was a time when you felt connected — connected to your creativity, to your sense of who you are, to a sense of something beyond the boundaries of yourself. Your recollection of that connection might be dim, a distant childhood impression. Or maybe it’s more immediate, sparkling in your memory. Whether it’s dim or vivid, you want to recapture the feeling.

Or perhaps you’ve met people who seem to have an inner compass, a certainty of knowing what’s right for them. In following that knowing, they’re happier, more peaceful, more confident and sure of themselves than you can imagine being. And you wonder what it takes to hear that quiet inner knowing.

You’ve spent your life helping others. You’ve lived by the rules and needs of your family, of your career. You’ve watched your time vanish in the busy-ness of a woman’s life. You love being there for your family and you enjoy your work (most of the time, anyway). But it’s time for something more, time for you. How can you figure out what that means before it’s too late?

It’s time. Something is asking you to pay attention. And you’re listening, you’re ready to take action. But ... what’s the right action? How do you learn to hear the call, to be true to yourself, to live your life from a different, gentler, more open perspective?

Welcome to Finding Another Way™: Practical steps to personal freedom

(Click here to jump down and listen to recordings from a previous Finding Another Way workshop)

This is an invitation to you to join a group of just seven other women, women like you who are looking for another way, wondering how to tune in to that inner knowing. Women who want to remember and return to themselves, so they can live from what’s really true for them. Women who are ready to answer the call and make the commitment to reconnecting with what’s natural within them.

Women who are ready to find their way home to themselves.

There’s no rule-book, and the only map is the one you create yourself. The “other way” is individually, uniquely yours.

The foundation, the starting point, is an understanding of three key principles.

Answering the Call

This is about opening to what’s calling you. It’s about receiving the strong, clear, compassionate support you need to hear what the call is saying and what it means. How does the call show up in your life? What does it really mean to answer the call, over and over and over again? What happens when you answer, when you make that deep commitment to yourself, to who and what you really are?

Being True to Yourself

When your life has been externally focused on responding to others’ needs and doing things “right,” that very quiet, steadfast voice inside becomes hard to hear. The voices of responsibility, criticism, judgment, accomplishment, “shoulds” — they can be overwhelming. But that quiet voice of what’s true for you is always there. How can you know with confidence when you’re hearing the clear, quiet voice of your own truth?

Living from Awareness

When you respond to the call, hearing the inner voice of what’s true for you, then you naturally expand into the deeper awareness that’s always and already there. Living your everyday life from awareness allows action to arise from a place of quiet, simple stability. What does it mean for you when you stop struggling with reality? What does opening to your own deep personal freedom feel like?

Then extend the space — with support and guidance

From this foundation, you can keep the focus, make the commitment, say Yes over and over and over again.

I think Jon is very special. He has such an ability as a man to elicit from a woman feelings that you don’t share with men normally. I don’t mean to sound sexist, but there is a real comfort in Jon. He gently illuminates the colors and the prism and perspective that we are as unique individuals. When we listen to our hearts, things can be transmitted to the world, transmitted to our daily actions, for the benefit of the whole circle.

Finding Another Way is a six-month group program that provides the support and structure you need to stay focused, to remember why you’re making the commitment, to learn what it means to say Yes. You’ll learn to listen to your body’s wisdom, learn what conditioned core beliefs are and how to question them, and learn how simple awareness reveals your own deepest truth.

The program provides you with hands-on opportunities to experience your truth and freedom and observe others doing the same — and shows you in real life that there’s no one way to do anything. The resonance of real freedom allows us all to expand and open to awareness. You’ll find yourself embodying the three key principles for yourself, discovering how they apply to your life, informed by your personality and preferences.

A taste of what we’ll be talking about

These recordings are excerpts from one of the Finding Another Way workshops conducted last summer. The workshops were a very brief introduction into these same key principles of Answering the Call, Being True to Yourself, and Living from Awareness.

You won’t hear many of the participants in these recordings (for the sake of their privacy), but rest assured that the program will be very interactive (just as the workshops were).

Would you like to experience these changes in your approach to life?

  • Remember the truth of your own wholeness, so you can relax out of the painful, needless struggle to fix yourself (or anyone else).
  • Become deeply curious about your nagging thoughts, painful feelings, and conditioned core beliefs so they let go of you and you can move forward with confidence and joy.
  • Recognize and begin to quiet the voices of criticism, hyper-responsibility, and acquiescence, so you can live your life from a place of stillness and calm.
  • Open to the larger perspective of who you really are, so you can experience each day with wonder and natural vulnerability.
  • Stop worrying about the future, so your decisions and actions arise powerfully out of your awareness of what’s true for you.
  • Discover how to hold life lightly and with love, so it unfolds naturally in the present moment instead of being squeezed into effortful existence.

I acknowledge you both for the simple, clear, and profound doorways that you present. The level of integrity, compassion, and safety that was created was palpable. I really appreciate the way you don’t make it about “you” and thus this helps me not make it about “me.”

The Guides

Jon

Finding your way takes support — support from people who share your path and who understand and can guide you on your way. Strong, non-judgmental, loving support from experienced facilitators who understand the process.

In the words of his clients, “Jon Hansen is a guide and a teacher with an amazing ability to transmit deep realities and truths in ways that connect. It’s a connection of profound awareness from where he is to where I might be, to that part of me that is always and already aware, and it allows me to hear what he has to say on very deep, non-mental, non-verbal levels.”

You can read more about Jon on the About page.

I have deliberately never worked with a man at this level before. I have trust issues that go way back that I’ve never been willling to look at. So it was huge for me to decide to work with Jon.

Jon, I am humbled by your strength of character, knowledge, patience with the process, and clear vision for me as a client that I see emanating from you as you work with me. It’s beyond words how grateful I am that I have your presence in my life.

Grace

Grace Judson has been working with Jon for over a year now as his client, student, business partner, and friend. Her life and her business have changed profoundly as a result of her work with Jon. She will share stories of her personal journey and answer your questions. By offering her own real, sometimes difficult, sometimes joyful, and often amazing experiences, she provides validation of the absolute reality that there is another way. Grace is an executive coach specializing in workplace gender politics, helping women overcome the subtle barriers that keep them from being successful. Her background is available on her website, Svaha Concepts.

Grace, you have an uncanny ability to see through what is being said and surface all the “unsaid” issues. Then you quickly give candid feedback and have a tremendous toolbox to help me move forward through your expert guidance with the right tool. The speed at which you understood my predicament and used great approaches to get me unstuck and moving forward was amazing.

I have worked with many facilitators / coaches / counselors relating to work and personal situations. Your skills are exemplary and moved me faster than I ever expected. I now have great tools for reframing my perception of a situation — and I’ve made an internal “flip” in my mind from inertia and sadness to optimism and momentum!

How the Program Works

Twelve 90-minute, focused, high-content group sessions over six months provide the backbone for this powerful program. Each group session is conducted over a private teleconference line (no driving, no parking, no paying for gas).

The program is open to just eight women, to ensure everyone receives individual, hands-on attention.

The program also includes:

  • Two personal hour-long calls with Jon and Grace at the beginning and midpoint of the program.
  • Access to Jon and Grace during pre-set times each week for private 20-minute sessions, no appointment needed.
  • Unlimited email support through the program’s private discussion forum.
  • Written, audio, and visual materials discussing the concepts that will be presented in each group session.

If you have a telephone and a computer, you can easily participate.

The call format:

  • Individual check-ins from each participant about their experiences with the program material since the last session.
  • New material and concepts presented by Jon and Grace in response to the group’s needs and progress.
  • Guided exploration of individual experiences.
  • Coaching and support around “stuck” or painful places.
